Co-creating the future
with like-minded partners from around the world.

We view a company as a single tree, with its roots representing invisible values such as human capital. Our goal is to visualize these values that are not reflected on the company's balance sheet, thereby maximizing human potential and supporting the creation of social value (purpose). This is known as intellectual capital management.

We aim to create a rich ecosystem (the "Forest of Willpower") where individual trees gather, strong wills resonate, and wisdom transcends boundaries.

Intellectual Capital Management Group

We are practitioners of intellectual capital management

The Hanakui (flower-eating bird) is a traditional pattern seen in artifacts from Shosoin (treasure house in Todaiji Temple, Nara), among others. The branch with flowers it carries symbolises hope, while the bird flying from forest to forest symbolizes the exchange between people. As a whole, the Hanakui is cherished in Japanese culture as a bird that symbolizes happiness.

ICMG, as a company that weaves together people's aspirations and aims to create a better society with various stakeholders worldwide, aspires to be the modern-day Hanakui. With this sentiment, this logo was created for ICMG.

Value Creation
from Human Capital

Value Creation with Human Capital as the Starting Point

Since ICMG was founded, we have conducted our business with "all value is created by people" at the core of our management. However, human resources are recorded as a cost on the income statement, even though human resources are in fact a company's greatest capital for value creation. We consider "human capital," which does not appear on the balance sheet, to be the starting point for value creation. We believe that strategically enhancing human resource capabilities and linking them to results is the most important factor for the sustainable growth of a company, and we have been spreading this belief throughout society via our practices.

We liken corporate activities to a tree ecosystem.

We have dedicated ourselves to elevating the strengths of individuals and organizations—those representing the roots of the tree—into business models and putting them into practice to produce "fruit" or value. This leads to the sustainable growth of companies and the creation of social value. This is the "bottom-up" flow depicted in the tree illustration.

Enabling individuals to demonstrate their abilities is crucial not only for companies but also holds significant meaning in the lives of those individuals. By refining the core and aspirations (willpower) of leaders, promoting their contribution to society, and elevating their practical wisdom, we support their actions, leading to societal implementation and the continuous generation of valuable outcomes.

This is the essence of ICMG Group's value. We will continue to believe in the value of people and support "value creation from human capital."

Co-CreationInvestment for Society

Co-create values that lead to the common good of society and the resolution of social issues

Co-create and implement values that lead to the common good of society and resolution of social issues. The value creation and sustainable growth of individual companies have their limits. Through dialogue with various stakeholders, we have come to realize that a social purpose that transcends the vision of individual companies is crucial and that this purpose needs to be redefined.

In addition to the bottom-up flow of "value creation from human capital," it is equally important to adopt a top-down perspective, considering what can be done from the viewpoints of social value, social issues, and the common good.
